Vocabulary
Hardspell
This website, based on a UK TV programme contains a spelling game. Part one is spelling against the clock –choose the correctly spelt word from two options. In part two, you have to choose the incorrectly spelt word from a choice of three, and can gain a bonus point by spelling the word correctly within a time limit. This could be used with a data projector, or individually by students in the computer room. Suitable for higher level students, as some of the words are either slightly more obscure or advanced.
